Ever popular, late model rugged FourTrack in desirable 2.8 turbo diesel TDL spec showing 93,444 miles
Supplied new in May 2001 this chunky 2nd Generation FourTrack (known as the Rocky elsewhere) comes to us in TDL Limited spec with resin wheel arch covers and is finished in red with grey wheel arches and trim.
Under the bonnet, we find the typical 2.8-litre intercooled and turbocharged OHV eight-valve four-cylinder DL52 diesel engine which developed 101Bhp driving two or four wheels with 2H, 4H and 4L options via five-speed manual transmission.
Inside, we find a grey cloth interior, electric windows, electric mirrors, 4H mode, heated rear window with wash/wipe, clinometer, Blaupunkt radio/CD player, and rear door lock/unlock button as well as useful jump seats in the boot and tow bar.
The truck shows 93,448 miles and presents in a well used way, with some signs of previous paint repairs, localised lacquer peel and other small repairs – nothing uncommon for a FourTrack given the kind of use they usually endure. Starting promptly it ran as it should as we moved it around on site for these images.
The history file includes only the V5C recording just two former keepers to the current of seven years and one invoice for a new battery dated December 2022. The last MOT expired in December 2022 and recorded just three advisories for cracking/perishing of the front tyres and underseal to the underside at 92,669 miles.
An interesting work horse to fettle and enjoy, it is on offer at No Reserve so the highest bid takes it away.
