2002 BMW 318CI Cabriolet (E46)
Attractive
three-owner E46 cabriolet with 143bhp 2.0 engine, manual 'box showing just
83,000 miles in a lovely colour combination
Supplied new in November 2002 by Broad Oak BMW of Kent, this smart
Grey-green pre-facelift E46 generation 3-series cabriolet comes to us in popular
318Ci guise, powered by a 2.0 N42-B20 in-line 4-cylinder engine developing
143bhp giving ample performance, and is mated here to 5-speed manual
transmission driving the rear wheels.
Showing 83,000 miles covered by its
three owners, the car presents well and appears in stock, unmolested form,
wearing its original 7-spoke 16inch alloy wheels. Inside, we find matching
green/green cloth interior which looks very smart and electric seat operation
with memory function for the driver, rear parking sensors, useful wind
deflector, traction control, automatic digital climate control with A/C,
original BMW sound system, multi-function steering wheel with cruise control and
fully automatic electric Mohair soft top with heated glass rear
screen.
Within the history file, we find the V5C showing just two
previous owners to the current of 4 years, owner’s pack and service book with 8
service stamps plus 1 hand-written entry inc. PDI, the last in January 2019 at
63,228 miles with a further 4 stamps for brake fluid changes and 1 for Coolant
(all by BMW main dealers). In addition, we find the current MOT valid until
November 2021 with 4 advisories recorded.
In very nice order, with but a
few marks to the inner door pull handles and temporary repair to the nearside
wing mirror mount, the car represents appealing value given its mileage, low
ownership and colour scheme/spec.
